The vertical drop takes me back to that 'cliff ' masquerading as a street we found by accident. Great composition with contrasts of sky and earth, trees and buildings and a great contracts of horizontals and verticals. You don't need no stinking brush.

Thanks for the comments! Today is the deadline for the OPA W. Regional show. I did the chemise painting a couple weeks ago as my entry. Then, yesterday I decided I might as well enter two as the rules allow. Sorting through my stack I found this one started months ago and never finished. It was all palette knife. I glazed with Ultra. Blue, in the sky adding Cerulean. Then added black to tone down the brighter colors on the buildings. Maybe I'll get in!
