Sep 24-26, 2010 at the Scotchman Peak Third Annual Plein Air Paint-out I received the Best of Show award for this painting done in the early morning chill at sunrise, Sam Owen campground between Sandpoint, Idaho and Hope. I also did seven others in that day and a half. Because the award included purchase of the picture it is not for sale.
